I collaborated with poet William Olsen to make this video. The poem is about his family flag and his mother’s reaction to the Kent State Shootings in 1970. I made the video by shooting every single flag in my town of 5000 people in Selinsgrove, Pennslyvania. Nearly 2000 flag photos were taken to make this video collage. I composed the music from an old keyboard that I had laying around..
